Seven Rabbits on a Pole

Love, lust, opera, and art... enjoy Picardi's latest play. As part of his Italian American series, this heartwarming humorous and touching story of the Great Depression and a courageous Italian immigrant family finding their way through rapidly changing times.
The cast for SEVEN RABBITS includes Urban Stages' veterans as well as newcomers to the company. Bob Ari appeared in Urban Stages' Pieces of the Sky, as well as on Broadway in Bells are Ringing and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Stephanie Cozart has performed the hit show The Syringa Tree at regional theaters all across the country; she will make her New York Off-Broadway debut with Seven Rabbits after working with Frances Hill on Mr. Picardi's The Sweepers at Capital Rep. Rounding out the cast will be Linda Cook (Pride's Crossing on Broadway, and also "Guiding Light" and "As the World Turns"), Brian Hutchison (Proof and The Invention of Love on Broadway), Kahan James ("Guiding Light", "Law & Order", Globe Theatre Pentecost directed by Mark Lamos), and Anthony Veneziale (featured role on "Sex & The City", as well as shows with the New Group and at the Adirondack Theater Festival).
