Angry Young Man

By Ben Woolf | Directed by Stephen Hamilton

The American Premiere
March 17 to April 9, 2017

Urban Stages in association with John Drew Theater at Guild Hall of East Hampton

Youssef is a man with a life so large, he has to be played by four actors.

In this fast-paced comedy, a surgeon from the Middle East arrives in London in search of work and a new life. Instead, through a series of hilarious mistakes and hapless missteps, he runs afoul of both white nationalists and liberal hypocrites discovering some surprising truths about the way we view the immigrants among us.

Starring Christopher Daftsios*, Rami Margron*, Max Samuels* and Nazli Sarpkaya*

“Brisk, funny and slicker than an oil spill in a tuxedo" - Evening Star

“Outstanding… Unfaltering… Painstakingly crafted, visually stunning and full of mirth… A beacon of a brave, new and unashamedly entertaining theatre.” - METRO

"Comic genius... I firmly believe Ben Woolf is one of the most originally talented writers in the world." - Broadway Baby
